E20 Project
1998
This project is linked to Landscape For The Car but traces a stretch of motorway (M62) that links Hull with Liverpool. This is part of a longer Euroroute (E20) which starts in Limerick in Ireland and passes through northern countries ending up in St Petersburg. I became aware of this route while working on a commission to photograph the Hull section for the planning department who were making a bid for money to clean up the area. I would like to journey along the whole of the E20 sometime and have thought about setting up a project with other photographers that live along the route.
